Lulu Guinness Love

Being a makeup artist I just love anything with lips/lipstick/faces on. This goes from bags, to clothes, to house decor. So as I'm sure you can imagine I am a huge fan of the designer Lulu Guinness. It is pretty much a match made in heaven for me.
At Christmas I was lucky enough to receive a few new items of hers, from my boyfriend and dad, and I really wanted to share them with you because....well, they are so darn pretty!

This is a card holder, something which I have been desperately needing for a while now. It is a gorgeous purple colour, in a patent material, and has a beautiful envelope detail on the front.
The 3D lilac lips sit on the seal of the envelope design and are such a cute touch.

This is a clutch bag, but it can be converted to wear cross-body or on your shoulder by a chain inside.
It shows two pairs of eyes, one on each side of the bag. As you can see, one set is fully open and the other is shut with a single tear. To open the clutch there is a super cute red lip fastening.
As you probably already know by now, I love the vintage style, so I adore her black marcel waves across the top.

I am looking forward to wearing this with a little black dress and making it my statement piece...with my own red lip of course!

I have had my eye on this iPhone 6 cover for a while now, even before I actually had the phone to fill it! This is the most fun case ever for me, and I just love using it. The silicone it is made out of is so soft that it feels lovely to hold, and even though it is rather large, let's be honest it makes for a great mirror selfie!

If you have been eyeing up any of Lulu's gorgeous pieces yourself, they are running an offer with Grazia magazine this week. Pick up a copy of this week's issue to receive 25% off some of their most coveted styles, online and in-store.

My Top 10 Pet Peeves

I like to think that I am a pretty laid back person...although my boyfriend may want to disagree haha!
However we wouldn't be human if there weren't a few things that really annoy all of us.
I have come up with my top 10 pet peeves; things that really get under my skin and drive me mad...I am aware they are very much first world problems, but I'm sure some of you can relate...

  1. When you get an itch on the bottom of your foot but you are wearing boots/tights....such a frustrating feeling! There is no subtle way of removing your tights in public.
  2. When you accidentally poke your eye with the mascara wand and then have to re-do ALL your makeup because your eye would not stop streaming. You now look like a panda..not cool.
  3. When you get stuck behind slow walking people through a train/tube station. This is made even worse when they have a suitcase trailing behind them and keep stopping mid-walk. Stations are for people who have places to go right?!
  4. When there is fine rain. I hate the rain full stop, but if it must happen then please just go for it. This horrible in between phase just ruins my hair. Hello frizzy, fluffy mess that you cannot rectify all day...whatever you try.
  5. When you have one hair grip that is digging into your scalp and giving you the worst headache, but you cannot find it amongst the 50 grips that you used to create your 'effortless' messy bun.
  6. When you have been dreaming of the ice cream that is left in the freezer all day, only to go home and discover that it is gone....actual devastation.
  7. When you fall over in the street whilst you are alone so you have no option to laugh it off. Why is it that we always make a strange noise to ourselves awkwardly?
  8. When your fringe will not cooperate with you and insists on staying kinky.
  9. When you see a girl who has straightened her hair but has left a wavy section right in the middle at the back of her head. You just wish you had a pair of mini GHD's on hand to help them. Plus now you're thinking maybe you have done he same?!
  10. When a stranger has a long blonde hair stuck to their black coat. All you want to do is pick it off, but what if they catch you?!
I hope you all had a great weekend and didn't have to deal with any of the above!

Let me know if you can relate and what your pet peeves are...
